You never know what plant treasures you see and find when gates are opened and you tour down garden paths.
In 2010 Asplundh Garden Tour patrons will be able to find inspiration when exploring 12 unique gardens in and around Alexandra.
This year’s Garden Tour will again host a culinary demonstration at Two Paddocks Vineyard and this year we are joined by well known celebrity chef and television personality Richard Till. This celebrity chef is well-known for his participation in community events throughout New Zealand, he opens the occasional three week restaurant, still works as a set builder, cooks dinner at home and fronts a long-running series of advertisements for supermarket Countdown.
Great gardens and great food, something to stimulate the taste buds and excite the green fingers - a unique combination celebrating the arrival of spring in Central Otago.
Get together with some friends for a self-drive tour and to top it off enjoy sumptuous afternoon tea at the Orchard Gardens, Dunstan Road, all included in the $15 ticket price..
