Due to weather, the Mardi Gras for 2023 ws unfortunately cancelled.

It was all action at the Linger and Die on the opening night of the 2022 Blossom Festival, when the popular Mardi Gras event marking the official start of the festival.

We had an amazing turn out! A record crowd of well over 4500 locals and visitors enjoyed this years evening of entertainment and celebrations. The event highlights were the Freestyle MX Spectacular thanks to Fulton Hogan, The Round the Clock winner presentations, kids games and entertainment, judo display, live music. And then the amazing fireworks display with the display lasting over 10 minutes!

The public also got their first chance to see the 2022 Blossom Festival Princesses. The Princesses were presented from the stage and joined in on the festivities.
