Pioneer Park will be the destination for the 2026 Grand Procession and a fun afternoon at the Contact Energy Saturday in the Park.

We will have entertainment for the young and the young at heart, featuring on two stages, one dedicated to all the kids and featuring clowns, jugglers and magic shows.

Please note - NO DOGS.

The Contact Alexandra Blossom Festival had a stellar entertainment lineup for the 2025 festival. Our next lineup will be announced mid way through next year (2026).

Barry & Jackie

Barry Saunders and Jackie Bristow

The Alexandra Blossom Festival is stoked to announce Kiwi musicians Barry Saunders and Jackie Bristow for 2025.

Saunders is well known as lead singer and songwriter of The Warratahs, a much-loved band whose soundtrack is embedded into life in New Zealand for the past four decades. He has also had a distinguished solo career.

Singer/songwriter Bristow took her first musical steps in Gore, honed her craft in the pubs and clubs of Sydney, Australia, and found her voice in the United States, where she has continued to enhance her reputation as a soulful, seductive independent recording artist and dynamic live performer.

Together Saunders and Bristow are a dynamic duo set to entertain and thrill music fans.

Mullet Man and MiM

Mullet Man are crowd favourites at the Alexandra Blossom Festival. Together the husband and wife team have a combined circus entertainment experience of over 50 years.

Their unique combination of acrobatics, juggling, contortion and comedy provides entertainment for audiences of all ages. They travel the world performing as street entertainment, in festivals and in a wide range of events.

 

Mr Wizowski
Wayne McEwan Magic Guy

It’s always a good time with Wayne McEwan Magic Guy’s fast-paced family show, featuring some of his most amazing tricks. Watch out for his parrot friends - they may just talk to you!

Earlier this year Wayne was recognised for outstanding contribution to the industry being named NZ Variety Artists Children’s Entertainer of the Year and receiving a Magic New Zealand Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

Mr Heaphy

Mr Heaphy

With a background in Circus Arts and theatre, Mr Heaphy specialises in stilt walking, aerial performance and sideshow - and plenty of character.

He was involved with the regrowth of performing arts post Christchurch earthquakes and has been entertaining audiences throughout New Zealand and beyond for the past 15 years.

 

Mr Wizo - 2025 Blossom Festival

Mr Wozowski

Juggler. Magician. Clown. All these words could be used to describe Mr Wizowski, but none of them really convey the delightful charm of this eccentric performer. You never know what he will pull out of his case of tricks next, but you can rest assured it will put a smile on your face.

Mr Wizowski is a comedic character from Michael Armstrong who has performed around the world at festivals including The Edinburgh Fringe, Gwanju Fringe and The World Buskers Festival. He originally studied Circus at Circoarts before touring the country with Circus Aotearoa.

Introducing the Alexandra Blossom Festival’s newest performer Emma Mackey. Emma is a circus performer and party entertainer and also teaches kids circus and circus aerials.

A joyful and bubbly person by nature, Emma is excited to bring magic and to help create special moments at this year’s Alexandra Blossom Festival.

 

Wander through a colourful mix of over 200 stalls offering tasty food and drinks, creative handmade arts, crafts and clothing, and plenty of community spirit. Meet local sports teams, join in with community clubs, support amazing non-profit groups, and explore exciting goods from local businesses — with plenty of activities to keep the kids smiling all day long......!
