The Alexandra Blossom Festival Committee is aware of the Covid19 risks involved with large scale public gatherings and intends to run all events in a responsible manner.
While the Covid19 response level is at “Level 1” we will –
• Encourage all workers, volunteers and members of the public to use good hygiene practices
• Have hand sanitiser stations available
• Provide face masks for workers and volunteers should they wish to wear one
• Encourage the use of the NZ COVID Tracer QR code poster and have the poster displayed at all events
• Inform all workers and volunteers of the response plan should Covid19 be suspected or confirmed at any event.
• Actively monitor the national Covid19 alert status and assess all plans and procedures should there be a change of status or likely change of status.
• In the event of a positive Covid19 case being linked to the 2020 Blossom Festival, no communications are to be done without first consulting with the Ministry of Health and gaining their consent.
